Announcing Monthly Startup Pitch Workshop

The Startup Folsom team is proud to launch a new monthly workshop where you will have the opportunity to do a 5 minute startup pitch to experienced pitch coaches and get valuable feedback. What’s even more exciting, is if you impress the coaches, they can invite you to pitch to a curated group of angel investors in Folsom at a monthly event organized by Choose Folsom.

The workshop will be held virtually on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm. Participants will have 5 minutes to pitch. This is timed, so practice. Afterwards, there will be 10 minutes of feedback from our pitch coaches. The sessions will be recorded so the participants can review their own pitch as well as the coaches feedback. Unfortunately, we can only support 5 startup pitches per workshop. If you don’t get selected for a particular month, you can reapply for a future workshop. So far, we have received entries from around the world but the intent is to support Sacramento and they will be given priority.

Our pitching coaches are The Right Box Founder, Josh David Miller (aka JDM), Linqm Founder, Aaron Rines, and Moneta Ventures Associate, Brook VanSant.
