Fundamentals of Web3 Distributed Ledger Technology

Startup Folsom, in partnership with Granite City Coworking is hosted this workshop on Web3 Distributed Ledger Technology. Simi Hunjan, an accomplished software manager at Swirlds Labs, will conducted an overview of distributed ledgers and provide an understanding of what it is and how it works. This includes an understanding of layer 1 protocols, consensus mechanisms, ledgers, etc.

About the Speaker

Simi Hunjan is an accomplished software manager at Swirlds Labs, bringing her expertise and passion to the field of blockchain since 2018. Her journey began when she attended a local Blockchain meetup in Sacramento in 2017, where she was immediately inspired to learn more about the technology and its potential. Simi's current interests lie in learning more about cryptography, building web3 applications, and UI design.
