Recap of 1/24/23 Proposal to the Folsom City Council

On January 24, 2023, we continued our presentation to the Folsom City Council (this time, we learned from the mistakes from our last presentation and submitted our PowerPoint the day before). In addition, Moneta Ventures Managing Partner Lokesh Sikaria, AGTECH Cofounder John Selep, and College eSports Founder Donna Walters also spoke on behalf of Startup Folsom. We are extremely grateful for their support. Here’s the video of all the presentations.

I think we’re making progress. Several of the councilmembers have reached out to Lokesh and John for further questions.

We will continue our drip campaign to the council, however, we will take a break on the next council meeting which is falls on Valentines Day. Our next set of presentations will be on:

Date: Tuesday, February 28, 2023

Time: 6:30 pm

Location: Folsom City Hall, 50 Natoma Street, Folsom, CA 95630.

If you like to address the council personally, they will allow you to speak for 3 minutes. Just fill out a blue card at the beginning of the meeting and hand it to the City Clerk.
