Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy

For 40 years, the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA) has been a catalyst for aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs, providing a comprehensive boot camp experience. Tailored to both students and budding founders, SEA’s curriculum equips participants with the practical skills, strategic mindset, and guidance needed to transform ideas into viable businesses.

Program Overview

SEA offers a 360° team-based, expert-led experience, blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on training. Participants, known as “fellows,” work collaboratively to take an idea from conception through market analysis, marketing strategies, financial planning, and ultimately, funding and launch.

The program begins with a cohort social on January 11th, allowing fellows to connect with peers, mentors, and the SEA Board. Sessions run every Saturday morning at Sac State from January 18th to May 3rd, culminating in a final pitch presentation to the board. This rigorous schedule provides a structured environment that fosters deep learning and skill development.
